I created a scene in CInema 4D a while ago and it was heavily based on the hair engine and now Maxwell Render supports hair rendering I wanted to compare the two. This is the Maxwell version, which I am very impressed by. Hardly took any tweaking at all.3d, landscape, hair, grass, flowers

Inspired by a fabulous fashion shoot from Hearst. The models were made up with very bright and pink makeup, but it is balanced out with the brightly colored hair. I just loved the delicious richness of the image and decided I want to make a portrait with this quality.2d, fashion, painting, portrait, hair, makeup, bright, girl, woman, fantasy
I have always loved the idea of having stories within a single image. The style and lighting is inspired by the classical painter, Rembrandt. I also tried to add an element of humour , hopefully it comes through.3d, still life, environment, hair, rat, interior, fur, bald, story, rodent
Something I did in between my commercial work, didn't took long, but many people say it's my best work so far. *shrug*
BUT, it was chosen for EXPOSE 9, yay! I wanted to paint a girl with rather original beauty, but with no direct reference or inspiration.2d, wind, girl, hair, storm, ethnic, hairstorm, portrait, fantasy, beauty

Contest piece
Rules...use one of contest holders' characters interacting with mine..involving them in her hair. I finally came to a decision with this piece...since it was so open, it kinda hard to choose what i wanted to do exactly. After a bunch of versions...I chose this image bc it allows me draw my characters interacting with hers much better.2d, fantasy, tangled, hair, demon, girl, woman, portrait
This is my most recent work: a portrait of my character, Raven. Tried something new; his was my first time doing lineless work. I honestly don't know how artists manage to churn out lineless artwork so quickly and so frequently, because this was seriously a huge challenge for me & really time consuming.2d, portrait, blue, hair, piercing, girl, woman
